Tub to shower conversion, south Broken Arrow

Fresh paint, and carpet replaced with wood look tile

In this south Broken Arrow home, we removed the carpet, then leveled the floor with a self-leveling underlayment. Because of potential issues with directly bonding tile to a cement foundation (like cracked tile due to foundation movement), we always recommend installing an uncoupling membrane on top of the cement slab and under the tile. We’re trained in and recommend installing Schluter Ditra between the foundation and tile.

This shower’s foam base failed, so we swapped it out for some deck mud. Now this concrete pan will last a lifetime.
